Plan the seedless limes pack

For seedless limes shipped to China, agree the case format against the importer’s intended channel. Foodservice cases may prioritize easy sorting and yield checks; retail cases may need a narrower size band and consistent display appearance. Ask for the label, liner and pallet photos before approving the order.

Confirm destination handling and documentation

Keep residue testing and plant-health documentation in the import file. The buyer should confirm the current GB 2763-2026 test limits with its lab and the commodity’s plant-quarantine route with its customs broker. NHC GB 2763-2026

Agree dispatch and arrival checks

For wholesale or processing, the Chinese buyer should specify the lime’s end use and what residue and plant-health documentation it expects. Ask whether cases will be opened for laboratory sampling at the port and keep retain samples from the same lot where the buyer’s process permits.
