Plan the seedless limes pack

When packing limes for India, protect the peel from abrasion and pressure while allowing the case to suit the planned transport and warehouse handling. Ask the packer to show the liner, ventilation, carton strength and stacking pattern. Confirm whether the importer needs retail-ready cases or bulk cartons that can be sorted locally.

Confirm destination handling and documentation

Do not choose a pack solely by the lowest packaging cost. Include how the receiver will unload the fruit and whether there is any repacking step. Keep “seedless lime” and the declared origin consistent on the order and case label.

Agree dispatch and arrival checks

The Indian buyer should clear the product-origin permit review before approving final pack details. India PQMS

Ask the Indian receiver whether cartons will be cross-docked, stacked or repacked. If a carton will be opened at multiple points, protect the lot code from being removed or covered. Include ventilation and net weight in the pack approval so logistics does not change the buyer’s product specification.
