Packing Ri6 Durian for Malaysia: What Importers Should Agree
A buyer-focused guide to ri6 durian packing for Malaysia, with a practical order checklist and official import guidance to verify before dispatch.
Design the Malaysia Ri6 pack for the receiver
A Malaysia-bound Ri6 durian pack should be specified from the receiving operation backwards. Ask whether the customer handles whole fruit, frozen whole fruit or smaller frozen units, and how staff will move the goods from unloading to storage. Record the equipment and handling sequence that the proposed case must suit.
Approve the case and inner units together
For whole fruit, check movement inside the case, safe lifting points and label visibility after stacking. With frozen units, review the seal, declared net content and whether an inner pack remains traceable after the outer carton is opened. Use distinct identifiers where one order contains more than one form or cultivar.
Have the importer check the product classification and current MAQIS plant controls instructions before finalising the label. Keep cultivar naming, growing origin and product form as separate factual fields; none should be inferred from the others.
Record what the packer actually dispatches
Approve a labelled packing sample, then request images of the actual lot arranged for dispatch. Reconcile case count and total net quantity with the packing list and note any mixed-lot pallet. Name the people who sign off the pack and inspect it at receipt.
A late switch in carton design, inner-unit size or fruit form needs another review. Keeping that change record gives the Malaysian receiving team a clear benchmark for damage, seals, quantity and traceability checks.
