Review fruit contact points, carton condition and a handling trial before approving whole Monthong durian packaging.
A whole Monthong packing trial should examine how the fruit contacts neighbouring fruit and the package, not just whether the closed carton looks tidy. A puncture or concentrated contact point can become visible only after the pack has been moved through the intended handling steps.
Inspect the arrangement before closing
Record fruit count, orientation, supports and clearance within the proposed pack. Photograph the positions so the arrangement can be reproduced. Check whether protruding points contact vulnerable surfaces or packaging components. Make the approved layout easy to repeat
Keep a labelled packing reference and a receiving check that looks at the same contact areas. Record deviations when fruit size or carton dimensions change.
