White Dragon Fruit Receiving: Manage Condensation Carefully

A practical handover checklist for wet cartons and condensation when chilled white dragon fruit reaches a warmer receiving area.

Moisture noticed during receiving deserves a description before it becomes a quality conclusion. Water on white dragon fruit may coincide with a cold-to-warm handover, while a wet carton may also have another cause. Record when and where moisture appears and preserve the temperature and handling context.

Prepare the handover before opening doors

Agree a receiving slot, an appropriate holding area and responsibility for moving the fruit after unloading. Avoid leaving the load waiting while the team searches for space or paperwork. Obtain the shipper’s validated handling instructions for the actual fruit and packaging; a generic internet temperature is not a substitute for those instructions.

Distinguish fruit moisture from package damage

Photograph the carton exterior, liner and fruit separately. Record whether the water is on the outside of packaging, inside it or on the fruit surface. Note softened cardboard, leaking packs and any local pattern across the pallet. A single close-up cannot show whether the condition affects the load or only one corner.

Handle the lot under a controlled procedure

Do not improvise by sealing wet fruit more tightly or exposing it to uncontrolled heat to make it look dry. Follow the approved receiving and holding procedure, and ask the quality team to assess any change in packaging or ventilation. Inspect soundness separately from moisture appearance. Keep time-stamped observations so later changes can be understood in sequence.

Improve the next appointment

Compare the unloading duration, holding conditions and carton performance with the original plan. A repeated bottleneck may be addressed by a shorter handover or a different approved pack trial. For a HAFAMEX white dragon fruit inquiry, describe the receiving facilities and likely transition between transport and storage so that handling assumptions can be agreed before the shipment.
